Just spent a couple of nights at Playa. The beach view from my room was gorgeous, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was simple but tasty. the place could really use some updating, especially the furniture.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the location was excellent with easy access to the beach and convenient public transport links to explore nearby attractions.

I appreciated the easy access to the beach. Breakfast had a nice selection, especially the fresh pastries that started my day perfectly. the room could really use some updates. the furniture felt basic and worn. I also faced issues with the WiFi, which was frustrating as it was only available around the reception area. I had hoped for more comfort in the room. It would have been nice to have tea or coffee making facilities for a bit more convenience.

The rooms are quite dated, with old furniture that feels more worn than welcoming. The WiFi situation is a real hassle, barely reaching beyond the reception area, making it tough to stay connected. The pool was unexpectedly closed, and the pebble beach is a poor substitute for lounging in the sun. Even more disheartening was the overall smell throughout the hotel, indicating some sort of ongoing maintenance issue. Lastly, the evening meal was limited in choice and not particularly impressive—definitely not a highlight.

Fantastic Sea View and Clean Rooms

I had a wonderful time at this hotel, especially enjoying the stunning sea view from my room. The room was very clean, and it was great to have plenty of parking outside, making it easy to explore the area. It would have been nice if the pool had been cleaned sooner, as I really wanted to take a dip during my stay.
